The Cranston Inquiry into the 24 November 2021 Channel crossing tragedy will hold a Preliminary Hearing in London on Thursday 24 October 2024 from 2.00pm.
The Preliminary Hearing on 24 October will include a report on the Inquiry’s progress to date and the plans for the next stage of its work.
The Preliminary Hearing will be open to members of the public who wish to attend. The building will open to the public at 1:15pm.

The hearings are being filmed by RTS Communications static cameras. A livestream with a three-minute delay is available on our YouTube channel. No other broadcast or stills cameras will be allowed in the hearings room.
Please be aware that this is a hearing into a very sensitive issue – media are requested not to film or approach anyone without permission and not to film people arriving at or leaving the venue.
Sir Ross Cranston and Inquiry counsel will not give media interviews during or after the hearing.
